1. Feel
How does it feel in your hands? How calm is the shot? Does it have noticeable
barrel lift when you shoot a stream of paint? Does the trigger pull easily
and return quickly? Is the whole package compact and easy to aim? How well
does it transition paint? These are the questions a player asks themselves
when serious about a new gun.
Independence is among the lightest of the full size guns, with a solid feel,
comfortable grip frame, excellent balance and easy handling. Alien’s
trigger, designed by “Critical”, is extremely fast, smooth and
4 ways adjustable.
The ‘SofTouch Bolt’ cushions both the chambered ball and the
stacked ball. Alien’s unique two-piece bolt locks the SofTouch cushion
in place. The LPR is set in the low 50’s for an incredibly soft shot.
2. Accuracy
XSV is one of the top names in paintball. XSV use the Alien Independence
for the same reason you should. As more and more guns become fast, light,
efficient and reliable, accuracy is becoming the deciding factor.
The low pressure of the LPR provides a quieter, calmer more accurate shot
rivaling or exceeding the smoothness of the best spool valve guns. Spool
valve fans speak of an improved shot from “behind the ball”
airflow vs. the up and over airflow of the double stacked poppet valve.
Alien’s exclusive “Sweep System” results in “Calmer
air held just below centerline”. Air flows under and forward, sweeping
the ball, guiding it to the target. The sweep bolt and valve impart a gyroscopic
backspin for tighter groupings and a flatter, longer shot. In baseball terms
it’s throwing fastballs instead of knuckleballs. Alien’s calm
shot and its Sweep Trajectory is ‘Confidence you can hold in your
hands’.
3. Service
Simplicity and low maintenance are the reasons for the Independent Ram.
One moving O-Ring provides a smooth shot and it is unaffected by cold play.
One ‘high flow hose’ connects with ‘quick release’
micro line fittings - no barbs - for fast, easy, safe service. Only Alien’s
can be ‘’aired up and powered on’ while separated into
3 modular units. Modular is ease of service and years of trouble free operation
– a ‘no worries’ gun.
4. Strength
A solid feel with walls visibly thicker than guns of similar weight. Modular
means each piece can be minimized, for lightweight but full strength. Alien’s

5. Electronics
Two Models to choose from. An OLED from the most respected aftermarket names
in board manufacturing or, again, the most respected name in LED boards.

6. Value
Alien guns are exceptionally calm and very fast. They are smooth, light

Electronic are from Hatred boards. Hatred boards have an LED indicator and are a full function boards that switches easily between NPPL (true semi auto), PSP and most all of the popular modes. The Hater board has a full menu of features including Debounce, Dwell, Max Rate of Fire Anti-Bolt Stick, Ramping selections and many more.
Our barrel kit is two 7 inch backs with bores of 0.0682 and 0.685 - to give today’s smaller paint the snug fit that best works with Alien's Sweep Bolt. Overall barrel length is 16 inches.

Alien Exclusive Features and Benefits
Sweep Valve: Alien originated the Oval Exhaust in 2002 and introduced it
in 2005. The Sweep Valve’s air entrance and exhaust are the same width
and has a quarter radius on the back wall – no restrictions, smooth
flow and a quieter shot.
Modular
Quickly and easily separated into 3 parts:
1) Gun Body, 2) Independent Ram, 3) Grip Housing: Remove 2 screws and you
can check your gun’s internals while it is aired up and powered on,
making ND the easiest to service and tech. Alien’s solenoid is mounted
directly to the Ram Body. Air passages are as short as possible and air
exhaust is faster than with QEV’s (Quick Escape Valves). A single
hose connects the gun body to the Independent Ram. ‘Quick Release’
fittings are used for easy disassembly and assembly. Quick release fittings
eliminate pulling on hoses, blown off hoses and cuts from sharp barbs. The
quick release fitting and hose have more than three times the airflow of
‘cocker type’ high flow barbs and hoses. You can set your LPR
in the 50’s for the calmest shots.
SofTouch: Alien’s two-piece bolt allows for ample room to lock in
the SofTouch pad. The blowout common with others can’t happen.
Typically loading fractures occur as the bolt pushes the ball in the barrel
and, at the same time, the bolt hits the stacked ball. The SofTouch pad
contacts both the chambered ball and the stacked ball. The raised lip keeps
the stacked balls from dropping and being jammed up. Alien’s easily
shoot the brittle paint and shoot in weather that is impossible for others.
Sweep Bolt: Calmer air, deliver by the Sweep Valve, is kept calm by quarter radiuses at the turns and by a two step increasing of the openings as the air flows. The sweep system guides the air rather than having it ‘tumble like surf’. Calmer ‘below centerline’ air sweeps the ball smoothly.
The feedneck is part of the gun body for increased strength, lowest profile and best appearance. The loader fits well into the body and is held securely. The inline regulator mount is also integrated for strength and good looks. The narrow body and low hopper “frame” your target for natural sighting.
